Student Services Coordinators are teachers who provide instructional, career, collaborative, and supportive assistance to career and technical education students.
Students Services help to identify and assess students to determine student's qualification as "special populations" and any additional services needed.
Remediation in basic reading and/or math skills as well any state test specific subject area is provided through Student Services. (Algebra I, Biology I, English II, & US History)
Collaborations include parent, community, business, and industry and working within the school system to promote success for career and technical education and special populations students.
An additional focus of Student Services, is for the recruitment, enrollment, instruction, retention, placement, and follow-up of special population students preparing for high-skill, high-wage, high-demand occupations and/or nontraditional employment in new and emerging careers.
